Everything in our life is in constant change mode. Every moment we are in the process of becoming someone else. Nothing stays exactly as it is. Movement and change constitute the reality of our being. They speak about the importance of tribal arts and of Gond Art in today’s world.
Venkat is a contemporary Indian Gond artist who works with murals, etchings, mixed media and animation. He has travelled extensively exhibiting his work in India and in international platforms. He has also been awarded the Rajya Hasta Shilpa Puraskar by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
S Anand is an author, publisher and journalist. He is the founder of the publishing house Navayana in 2003, which is "India’s first and only publishing house to focus on the issue of caste from an anti-caste perspective." He is also the co-author of Bhimayana and has annotated B.R. Ambedkar’s Annihilation of Caste.
